Free 60 Avios for Completing a Short Tesco Feedback Form

Tesco ClubcardTesco is offering 25 free Clubcard points (convertible into 60 Avios at the standard rate) for completing a short feedback form.

The form is intended for people who have received a leaflet through the post, or for those that shopped at a Tesco recently, so you need the Tesco Store code from your receipt. However, if you don’t have a receipt to hand, you can find your local Tesco store code in first column of this PDF file.

Once you have your store code, simply go to this page, choose the “till coupon” option, enter the store code and fill in the feedback form. The form takes no more than a few minutes to complete and, at the end, you give your Tesco Clubcard number and you’ll get your Clubcard points thereafter.

American Express BA Premium Plus Card Bonus Down to 19,000 Avios

British Airways
The bonus for being referred for the British Airways American Express Premium Plus Card has been reduced to 19,000 Avios from today. This is still a good deal, but not quite as good as the 26,000 Avios being offered last week. I have updated the Credit Card Offers page to reflect the change.

Earning Avios – BA eShop verus Topcashback

100% Cashback

As I explained earlier this week, you can now convert up to £50 of cashback from into Tesco Clubcard vouchers, with a 5% bonus, and from there you can convert them into Avios.

A £50 conversion of cashback returns 12,600 Avios at the standard rate conversion rate, meaning you’re getting your Avios for under 0.4p each – a very good rate that is quite difficult to beat. Additionally, there are often conversion bonuses between Tesco Clubcard vouchers and Avios, so the recommendation is to hold onto your vouchers unless you need to convert them or if they are about to expire (they have a two year validity).

However, as most people know, you can also earn Avios by shopping at the eShop on, so I though I’d do a comparison on which route would result in the greater number of Avios for a £100 spend.

You can see a fuller analysis below, but the investigation is fairly conclusive: buying online from most retailers via, and converting your cashback to Tesco Clubcard vouchers and then onto Avios, returns between 2 and 4 times as many Avios as going via the BA eShop.

eShop v Topcashback

BA eShop v Topcashback – Which returns the most Avios?

The table above is not a full list of retailers available on either the BA eShop or on, but I’ve chosen a wide representation across various retail sectors. The outcome is clear, however, for up to £50 of cashback, is the clear winner if you want to get Avios from your online shopping.

Note that if you click through to from the links on this page, and get over £10 cashback, I will receive a small referrers fee and it does not change your account in any way. If you’d rather that did not happen, please go to the site direct.

240 Free Avios via Tesco

Tesco ClubcardIts not often that you get something for nothing in life, but Tesco is giving away 100 Tesco Clubcard points if you tell them when some of your insurances are due for renewal. Tesco will undoubtedly contact you near that time, but there’s no obligation to do any more and you will be able to unsubscribe from their notifications a later date.

100 Clubcard points converts into 240 Avios at the standard rate, but the recommendation is to hold onto them longer as there are clubcard to Avios conversion bonuses.
