BA May End Up Holding the (BMI) Baby

It looks like British Airways (in reality, the parent company IAG) could end up with BMIBaby as part of its acquisition of BMI after some of the interested parties ended negotiation with current owners Lufthansa without any agreement, and others such as Ryanair, EasyJet, Monarch Airlines and Flybe have already said they are not interested.

IAG will receive a “significant discount” on the $274 million they agreed to pay for BMI if they also have to take BMIBaby as part of the deal.
