Low Fuel Surcharge on Transatlantic Redemptions with Aer Lingus

Aer Lingus

Lucky over on the One Mile at a Time blog has a great couple of posts detailing how you can use your Avios to get cheap transatlantic flights with Aer Lingus to and from Dublin.

The first post explains that the fuel surcharge is much less with Aer Lingus than on the equivalent British Airways flights to and from London, with some examples.

Lucky’s second post reveals that there is a great range of availability on the Aer Lingus route.

The only note of caution on using Aer Lingus over British Airways is that their business class cabin is probably not as good as the equivalent cabin on British Airways, but if the cost is the most important thing to you, then you should definitely check the availability.
